	Unimportant Moments 'Again a very meditative melody, and again there's a Celtic hint in it.'

	Old Song 'Here I seemed to get my inspiration from the old good English lute music.'

	Springtime Groove 'A piece with both Spanish and Latin American influences and changes of bass and treble melodies.'
	Springtime Groove This is a duet! I have but this one on my page - it´s twice the work. But this time it was done by Berndt so here it is.
	Andante "I composed this piece in 2001 and it sounds a bit like a tango."
	Moderato a moll "´Moderato a moll´ is a quite and silent piece which is a little meditative."

Boeger, Helmut (*1960, Germany)
Helmut plays classical guitar since the age of 18. He began learning by himself but for the last three years has taken lessons at Wiesbadener Musik- und Kunstschule with Alexander Wieshalla. 	Lamento "A lamento is a grieving song. It´s important to play it very much rubato and varie speed and loudness. For me it has to reflect a pain."

Bulut, Erkan (Turkey)
Erkan began playing the guitar with flamenco. He attended lessons with a professional teacher for 2,5 years. He started to be interested in the classical guitar since he heard capricho arabe by tarrega at one midnight. Actually he works with computers as a system engineer. Chudnovsky, Alex (*1973, Australia)
Alex was born in Russia and now lives in Australia. He played electric guitar since 1990 but only recently started to pick nylon. He is self taught, had no musical training and enjoys all styles of guitar, including metal,jazz,pop,alternative. Alex´ e-mail: [email protected]
	A Dance In Venice "Oddly enough I wrote the majority of this piece after watching a John Williams documentary. He seems to provide me with a lot of inspiration. I wrote this about 5 years ago on an electric guitar ironically."
	Day Dream "One of my favourite pieces that I have written. I wrote this piece about 1 and a half years ago on the acoustic guitar."

Dannehl, Rolf C. (*1960, Netherlands)
Rolf started playing guitar at the age of 14. He started to study classical guitar but did not finish it. A "real" profession seemed safer to him then. He didn´t play from 1990 to 2000 (he ruined his left hand in some way). In 2002 he took up his studies again. 	Spanish Impressions - No.1 Primera Cancion "Primera Cancion was born back in some quite times of my study, originally to check a new guitar. It was the first of 18 pieces which I called "Spanish Impresions For Classical Guitar". At that time I often visited Spanish luthiers and wrote about them in a column."
	Spanish Impressions - No.2 Para Ramirez I once met Jose Ramirez when he introduced his new guitar ´De Camara´. Playing artifical harmonics was so easy on that guitar and the sound so good that I wrote this piece for the guitar by Jose Ramirez.
	Spanish Impressions - No.3 Vida Y Muerte "Life and death are so close together. Today you are happy and tomorrow erverything may be over and gone. This piece is about happaness and sadness."
	Spanish Impressions - No.4 Mi Coche En La Orotava "La Orotava is a small town on Teneriffe and sort of hell for car drivers from abroad. They have a labyrinth of one way streets and very small streets. Drivers from abroad are blown away by signal horns. I tried to catch that feeling of stress in this piece."
	Spanish Impressions - No.5 Homenaje a Tarrega "Homenaje a Tarrega was written out of frustration and of joy when I finally left behind all of the tecnical studies of Tarrega during my studies. This does of course not mean I don´t like Tarrega and his music"
	Spanish Impressions - No.6 Homenaije a Teneriffe "North of Teneriffe lies the highest mountain of Teneriffe, the Teide. This piece describes the successful climbing of the mountain."
	Spanish Impressions - No.7 Vuelta Al Puerto de la Cruz "Puerto De La Cruz is the capital of Teneriffe and in the middle of the milling crowd lies the most beautiful beach of Spain: the Playa De La Teresitas. At this Playa there is a christmas market. This piece is a christmas song for people who like to celebrate christmas at 30°C."
	Spanish Impressions - No.8 Musica y Vino "This piece is about the Spanish tradidion to celebrate at all possible opportunities."
	Spanish Impressions - No.9 Recuerdos en la Alhambra "A praise of one of the most beautiful histocal buildings in Spain with an twinckle of an eye towards Tarrega."

Gomez, Robert (*1951)
Robert is basically self taught and played guitar in rock bands in the mid 60's & early 70's. 	Raymond Michael "Raymond Michael is my brothers first born. This is my first composition for solo guitar, completed in May of 1994."

Häkkinen, Eero (*1955, Sweden)
Eero was about 26 when he started a course in classical guitar and began learning notes and a new musical world opened up for him. He stopped totally listening and playing the popsongs for several years. Since then he's been playing more or less every year but the last years he has practiced a lot and started to write his own songs as well with keeping up learning new classical pieces and also just recently began looking at Flamenco. Louïse, Gilles (*1956, France)
Gilles began with the classical guitar at 13 and gave his first recitals at 16. His professor was called Paul Chazelet, he was a violinist and has, as such, more given him interpretation lessons than guitaristic technique. Gilles playes especially in Germany in 1976 and in 1978 but he did not want to become professional. He earns his living as computer specialist. He maintains a good level of playing and composees from time to time (too little in his own opinion and always very slowly) when a free inspiration comes to him. Gilles´ e-mail: [email protected]

Meineke, Dirk (*1961, Germany)
Dirk had classical lessons in the seventies but stopped playing for a million reasons (of which he can remember none). He started again in the middle of 2000, almost from zero and plays mostly classical and latin music. A Friend introduced him the the music of Bach which he first studied, as an engineer, from the structural, mathematical point of view. 	Encrontrando Amor " This is the first piece of music I have ever written and I'm quite pleased with how it came out. I believe it captures the feelings that I meant it to. It is short, around 1 minute 30 seconds, and fairly simple to play. I am anxious to know if others enjoy it."

Schoeberl, Norbert R. (*1958, Austria)
Born 1958 in Vienna Austria, Norbert begun playing an instrument shortly after they cut him from his diapers. He has studied classic guitar and violin at the Vienna conservatory, played in all kinds of music formations, taught guitar and composition and never led hard hard job keep him from spending at least some hours per week on his music instruments, playing, writing, recording or getting together with others. 	Get Confident "A young, very, very talented Norwegian violin player, possibly a challenge the very best violinists of this world, and son of a very good friend of mine, doubted his skills one day. I wrote this guitar piece, expressing the swing from doubts and the regaining of confidence."
	On Parallel Roads "Owing to the long relationship with an old friend and great Austrian guitar player, this piece was written as a duet, whereas the 1st voice is a stand alone guitar piece, leaving room for a 2nd voice, for free improvisation, which is thereby not part of the composition. Thus the name Parallel Roads."
	Jazzy Thoughts "Friends and I sat at our river one hot summer day, finger-picking guitars, when our lazy minds drifted away and everything we said sounded laid back and sort of jazzy. This piece is reflecting that mood, even containing some licks that had poured out of our guitars back then. "

How to submit your own music
If you would like to find your own pieces of music here just e-mail me. It should be something suitable for the classical or nylon-string guitar and has to be a composition of your own. You will keep all the rights on it. The pieces will be prepared by me like the ones in my other sections. I can use most formats, but because of the work still to be put in it please note that longer pieces should be sent toghether with a midi (if possible) and standard notation should be with fingerings. This would make it easier for me. You will probably not become famous because of a submission to this page, but think of the posibility to share your own music with other guitarists all over the world.
